A team karting event was held at Pole Position Indoor Karting (PPIK), who have this year become a new Team HARE sponsor, as shown in the photo.
Last year’s car underwent two days of testing at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome in Leicestershire to test all the 2D data gathering sensors that will be going on this year’s car. Also, car performance with different differential ramp angles was gathered.
A further visit is planned to test the performance with various tyre pressures, camber angles, & toe in and toe out angles. Car manufacturing has started to progress, with the spaceframe beginning to take shape and orders placed for many components. The phase from CAD to reality has begun…..
